About this experience
The National Museum of Photography in Rabat is a unique place dedicated to photographic art, located in the historic setting of Fort Rottembourg, in the Océan district. Inaugurated in 2020, the museum highlights the richness of contemporary and classical photography while showcasing Moroccan visual heritage. The museum offers permanent and temporary exhibitions, featuring works by Moroccan and international photographers. These exhibitions cover a wide range of themes, from documentary photography to portraits, as well as innovative artistic projects. In addition to exhibitions, the museum offers workshops and educational activities for all audiences: children, students, photography enthusiasts, or casual visitors. These workshops allow participants to discover photographic techniques, retouching, and the history and evolution of photography. With interactive and immersive spaces, the museum provides a rich experience that combines art, technology, and culture. It is an ideal place to explore visual creativity, understand the history of photography, and appreciate the diversity of artistic expressions. Opening Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Closed on Tuesdays Prices: Adults: 20 MAD Minors: 10 MAD Free for children under 10. Moroccans or foreign residents in Morocco have free access on Fridays.
